FINANCE DIRECTOR

5+ years experience

Lead the Philippines Finance and Accounting team
Provide strategic recommendations on business and financial planning to the CEO and executive leadership team
Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting
Set comprehensive goals for operations and growth that link to business objectives and financial performance, and evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting metrics and data
Support the CEO in fundraising ventures and participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
Work with the executive leadership team in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance as well as managing and mitigating financial and other types of risk
Managing banking relationships, cash management and other treasury-related activities
Ensuring compliance with financial processes, systems and policies
Providing oversight on tax, internal controls and audit-related matters

You have 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance leadership
Preferably 5+ years’ experience in Gaming industry will be preferred
You are a Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
You have prior country experience in a similar role
You are a strong leader and possess excellent analytical skills.
Expertise in Accounting, Financial Planning, Analysis, Taxation, Audit
You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

PARALEGAL

2+ years experience

Labor Law Compliance: Ensure adherence to Philippine labor laws (DOLE, OSHS), and monitor industry updates.
Legal Documentation: Draft and review employment contracts, termination notices, and labor-related agreements. Prepare DOLE compliance reports.
Labor Dispute Management: Assist in managing employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions. Coordinate with legal counsel for labor cases.
Case Management & Research: Conduct legal research on labor issues and maintain case records.
Support to HR & Management: Advise HR on labor law compliance and assist in employee misconduct investigations.
Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations and support policy design to prevent disputes.
Regulatory Compliance: Assist in submitting mandatory reports to DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG. Maintain a database of regulatory requirements.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in labor relations or employment law. Experience in the online gaming/casino industry is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations (Labor Code of the Philippines).
Excellent legal research, drafting, and case management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

Draft and review various contracts, including master service agreements, licensing agreements, and service level agreements.
Prepare letters, term sheets, letters of intent, approval papers, and other legal documents.
Collaborate with senior management and business units on complex contracts and negotiations.
Provide legal advice on commercial risks and work with business leaders to close deals.
Advise stakeholders on legal, compliance, and risk management issues.
Manage contracts to ensure proper execution, notarization, and archiving.
Build and maintain relationships with external parties like regulators and legal counsel.
Assist with due diligence and vendor accreditation to ensure business ethics compliance.
Contribute to the development of internal guidelines and streamlined contract review processes.
Ensure proper filing and monitoring of documents within the Legal Department.
Perform other legal tasks as assigned.

Must be a lawyer, and a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
With at least 5 years of solid experience as a Corporate, Transactional or Contracts lawyer gained from a top tier law firm and In-House Legal Department of a multinational or multi-cultural corporation

Analyze and evaluate accounting documents, preparing audit reports with recommendations.

Verify the accuracy of financial statements.
Ensure compliance with company policies for all members and the Board.
Ensure adherence to government laws, rules, and regulations.
Prepare audit schedules and maintain effective internal controls.
Regularly submit audit reports with findings and improvement recommendations.
Conduct branch audits to ensure financial reporting integrity and prevent fraud.
Establish accuracy and reliability of financial documents.
Review external auditor recommendations and ensure corrective actions.
Evaluate compliance with ethical standards between management and the Board.
Attend seminars to stay updated on industry regulations.
Attend Board Meetings and Annual General Assemblies.

Minimum of 10 years in accounting, auditing, and business, preferably in public or industry sectors.
Significant experience in senior internal audit roles.
Over 5 years of management experience leading a team of professional auditors.
More than 6 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality industry, with preferred exposure to the junket environment in Macau.
